Q-  How do I install OUMD on my desktop?

A- OUMD is a web based application so no installation is necessary.  Simply login under the SIGN IN tab.

Q- Is my patients information safe and secure?

A- OUMD utilizes the same encrypted protocol used for online banking.  If preferred, the option to not save the data files on the server is present.

Q- Does OUMD work with Windows?

A- OUMD works with recent versions of Windows and Mac

Q-Where are the Outside Use files retrieved from?

A- Connect to MCEDT (Ministry's website) to download your outside use files.  12 months of history is usually available to be downloaded.  

     Contact the EMR vendor to gain access if you have no credentials

Q- What information can be sorted in the Outside Use Grid?

A- Every Column Header can be clicked on, which will sort the grid by that column header.

Q-How can i see the detail of the outside use for a patient / month?

A- Single-Click on the Outside Use dollar amount cell to reveal the Breakdown and details of every instance.

Q- Is it possible to see which doctor saw the patient that triggered Outside Use?

A- Unfortuantely, the Ministry does not divulge that information.

Q- Can i recover some of the Outside Use if i de-roster a patient?

A- Up to 6 months of Outside by backdating the de-roster date.  The ministry will then automatically re-adjsut the payment owed.

     (Take back Capitation Fees, Reimburse Outside Use and payout visits as Fee For Service)
